Join ASU’s Center for Science and the Imagination in partnership with Majestic Neighborhood Cinema in Tempe to view Brainstorm (1983) on the silver screen. This screening is part of a greater film series: History of the Future, exploring gripping, cinematic visions of the future across the past five decades.
Join us Wednesday, February 25th at 7 p.m and delve into a fascinating piece with Michael Brace (Christopher Walken) as his research unravels, thrusting him into a confusing spiral that will leave you questioning what’s true and what’s merely virtual.
The film will be introduced by Dr. Andrew Maynard, esteemed media academic at ASU. Dr. Maynard is a Professor at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society, a Senior Global Futures Scholar, and host of the Modem Futura podcast with Dr. Sean Leahy!
Tickets are $8.00, plus applicable taxes and service charges. A limited number of free tickets for ASU students are available on a first-come, first-served basis, courtesy of your Imaginary Friends at CSI.
