In this project-based course students will work in teams to take a visionary idea and develop working prototypes that bring it to life. The author Neal Stephenson once imagined a technology-enhanced book that could adapt itself to any reader, even an illiterate young child: he called it the Young Lady’s Illustrated Primer. Student teams will build working prototypes of the Primer using current hardware and software. They will work with mentors and a diverse faculty team to create thoughtful, cutting-edge visions of what the future of the book might look like.
