Salary range: $29,304 – $50,000 per year, depending on experience

The Center for Science and the Imagination seeks a talented professional to assist with operational and budgetary aspects of the center, promoting its mission through creative thinking, problem solving, organizational mastery, and adaptability in the face of wide-ranging challenges.
The ideal candidate is comfortable interacting with faculty, staff, and students, and is a detail-oriented generalist with a passion for new models in higher education. Responsibilities may include creating and managing budgets, reconciling accounts and processing financial documents; operations management including supervising student and contract workers, organizing events, maintaining center calendars; participating in strategic planning, curriculum development, grant proposal development, fundraising efforts, and high-level interactions with faculty, administrators, and distinguished visitors. Individual must be able to plan and operate multiple initiatives independently, and collaborate effectively on team projects.
This position will provide opportunities to collaborate on proposing and developing exciting new interdisciplinary projects to engage diverse groups including scholars, students, artists, designers, authors, scientists, technologists, and members of the public. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
