Boyd Branch, MFA is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the School of Film, Dance and Theatre in ASU’s Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts, where he teaches in the Interdisciplinary Digital Media program. As a communications and digital media expert he has led national and international workshops and seminars on improvisation for scientists and engineers, developed new technologies for communications training with military veterans, sustainability engineers, and teaching artists, and created original theatrical experiences focused on STEM communication for festivals and theatrical events around the world. A former Fulbright fellow, Professor Branch’s media work for the stage has been produced in the Netherlands, Pakistan (sponsored by the US State Department), major regional theatres throughout the Southwest, and off-off-Broadway.
