Kiran Khangura

Kiran is in her final year studying Conservation Biology and Ecology in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University, but she dabbled in chemistry, geological sciences, and even astrobiology before deciding she was more interested in outreach and fieldwork than the lab. She spent a year developing science curriculum modules for middle school students at ASU’s Institute for the Science of Teaching and Learning before coming to the Center for Science and the Imagination. Kiran is interested in working to improve scientific literacy among non-scientists and creating spaces where natural sciences and the humanities intersect.
