History of the Future: Total Recall

Join ASU’s Center for Science and the Imagination in partnership with Majestic Neighborhood Cinema in Tempe to view Total Recall on the silver screen. This screening is part of a greater film series: The History of the Future, exploring gripping, cinematic visions of the future across the past four decades. 

Join us Wednesday, April 24. at 7 p.m and take a nostalgic leap back to 1990 for an epic theatrical screening of Total Recall. Embark on a riveting journey with Quaid (Arnold Schwarzenegger) as his reality unravels, thrusting him into a battle to reconstruct his world amidst the urban jungles of Mars. Brace yourself for a sci-fi spectacle that will leave you questioning the fabrics of memory and society.

The film will be introduced by Dr. Andrew Maynard, esteemed media academic at ASU. Dr. Maynard is a Professor at the School for the Future of Innovation in Society and a Senior Global Futures Scholar. Listen as he expounds upon the Martian future depicted in Total Recall.

Tickets are $8.00, plus applicable taxes and service charges. A limited number of free tickets for ASU students are available on a first-come, first-served basis, courtesy of your Imaginary Friends at CSI. Stop by Memorial Union on ASU Campus on April 22nd and 23rd to get one! You must be a currently enrolled ASU student and have an @asu.edu email address to claim a free ticket.
